ZāGO Manufacturing Company is a specialist manufacturer and distributor of sealing product lines such as nuts, bolts, covers, boots and self-sealing screws. Its components are used for diverse applications including infrastructural, industrial and military uses, providing the first line of defence for electronics and devices against environmental damage. Background In 1993, the company was formed in the Business Incubator at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey. Five years later, ZāGO graduated from the plan with flying colours and a special achievement award, before moving to custom premises in the Ironbound district of Newark. There, the company cemented its position as one of the most trusted and reliable manufacturers and suppliers in its field, thanks to its blend of modern age technological knowledge and commitment to providing excellent customer service. In 2005, it moved into an all new state-of-the-art facility within easy reach of Newark International Airport, one of the primary transport hubs in the United States. Product lines ZāGO’s primary product lines fall into the following four categories: 1) Switch boots Sensitive electronics and components can soon develop problems when they are required to operate while exposed to difficult environmental conditions such as heavy rain, dust and oil. ZāGO’s switch boots are made of a durable silicon compound and provide protection even in the harshest environments. 2) Crystal seals ZāGO’s crystal seals are mounted directly onto switches to form an airtight and waterproof seal. This shields devices against risk factors such as oil contamination, salt water intrusion and many others besides. ZāGO uses its own unique moulding process to design custom-made seals that perfectly fit any switch. 3) Sealing screws When customers need their equipment to be securely mounted in challenging conditions, they turn to ZāGO for its range of self-sealing screws, rivets and bolts. Quite simply, they are designed to withstand practically anything thrown at them, and they work to protect electronic devices against contaminants and external pressures. All hardware components feature a silicon “O” ring, which reshapes itself while the fastening is tightened to form a powerful and impenetrable seal. 4) Sealing nuts The best bolts need to work with the most robust nuts, and ZāGO’s self-sealing nuts are guaranteed to deliver. They feature a specially formulated rubber coating that provides unparalleled protection against contaminants, vibrations and external pressure.
